I create images to illustrate emotions, loved ones, food, travel, places, idiosyncrasies...all to tell a story. The works on this website are for you to take a look at these stories.
I also create illustrations and artworks that are as important to me as they are to you. I work closely with you to create the image to suit your brief. Please have a look at my images on this website above to see if I can tell your story, and scroll down to learn more about me.
All art is available to buy as prints, and I am happy to discuss commissions..all you need to do is contact me below.
I graduated in 1994 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Bath Spa University, UK, and have been working as an artist and illustrator since...while also as a teacher and teacher trainer. I have visited lots of countries and lived in a few, but am currently based in Portugal. I first started working in the UK collaborating with architects to design artworks for interiors such as bars, cafes and restaurants. In my time in Australia, I mainly focused on contemporary portraits with the view to tell the stories of people who didn't quite belong. I won the national Churchie Emerging Art Award in Painting, and exhibited across Australia in solo and group shows. More recently, over the years of living in Colombia and Greece, I've been working in illustration, still in the hope of giving a voice to people (and animals!) who should be heard. They are my stories. This website is a celebration of images I've worked on with the short stories behind them as individual artworks. I love street art, splats, dribbles and drips of paint. I love lines of pencil, blobs of ink, and scribbles of pens. I love drawing. Browse my site to learn more about the art I’ve created, and feel free to get in touch with any questions, comments, or suggestions. I’d love to hear from you.
